Solving your Spyware Dilemma – How to Rid your Computer of that Pesky Problem

from:

Seems like no matter where you go on the web, you are picking up unwanted guests. Spyware is everywhere now and you just cannot avoid it. Most of the time it creeps up on you and you will never know it is there. Sometimes you clicked the wrong link and now you spending hours trying to remove all the keys from your registry to only have them all come back three seconds later. So, what can a person do in this dilemma? There is plenty one can do today to keep from being bothered by spyware. One should not have to avoid the Internet or have to worry endlessly that they might have this on their PC. All you have to do is get rid of the stuff as it tries to download or after by doing a scan on it. You won’t have to spend countless wasted time trying to manually remove it. Just a click of the mouse and your computer can become spyware free.

If you have spyware on your computer, then you will want to get rid of it as soon as you suspect it. You don’t want your computer to start lagging or messing up as you are trying to get things done. The best way to remove unwanted and potentially dangerous software from your PC is to have effective anti-virus protection. The most effective programs that will save you in the long run have the anti-spyware built into them. These are the anti-virus software programs with the anti-spyware built right in. Some of these programs will only spot the spyware after it has installed onto your computer. Most large companies like Norton and McAfee add this into their protection policy. You will have to run the software at least once a day if you or others surf the net a lot. The programs will either be able to delete the spyware with the actual anti-virus scan or you will have to run the anti-spyware feature. The spyware will be detected during the scan and removed from your computer.

Some ant-virus programs will detect and block spyware as it tries to enter your computer. This is the best to have because you know no matter where you are on the internet your software won’t allow anything to get through. Panda software runs this way. The program will detect and block unwanted downloads from going into your computer. As you are searching the net you will be safe from most if not all spyware that tries to get into your system with out your permission. This will save you much time from having to do a scan everyday to make sure your machine is clean. Depending on how many files you have on your computer this can excrutiatingly time consuming if you have to run an anti-virus three to four times per day. It is better to have a program that keeps the spyware from even getting on your PC in the first place. You should run a weekly scan just to be safe though. You might have gotten more than just spyware.

Then there are the ant-virus programs that don’t have a spyware removal system. These are usually the cheaper version of the better programs. This sometimes is also the case with already installed anti-virus protection that comes with many computers. At this point you will need to download or buy an anti-spyware program. If you are choosing to download you will want to download a legitimate spyware removal program. Try to stay away from the free versions of these programs. They are only limited in their function and scanning abilities. If you are determined to use them make sure to download several different ones to be completely protected as much as possible. There are several great programs out there including Ad-Aware, SpySweeper, PestPatrol, and Spybot Search and Destroy. All offer a free trial version and the paid version. The paid version will give you much more protection and can be updated as often as you like. You will want to run the program at least once a day to be sure to remove spyware from your machine. Most users run it every time they are done on the Internet to make sure they have nothing on their machines.
